Kerry picks and chooses. He invokes God's guidance on the little stuff, the easy stuff, the boilerplate. He turns his back on God on the big issues, abortion and, with a wink, gay marriage.
Goldberg says that Kerry seems to have it backwards. God doesn't take a position on the minimum wage or the Superfund, so politicians shouldn't feel the need to consult HIM. Beyond the naked pandering, Kerry's positions are morally and religiously empty. When it comes to tough issues, what Kerry wants is GRACE ON THE CHEAP.
Bush says God guides him in everything he does. Kerry says that too, but it hard to see how he's not lying.
Goldberg points out that Thomas Moore said" if honor were profitable, everybody would be honorable"

This election is definitely a battle of Good v. Evil, this is why I know that GWB will prevail.
For at least the fifth time, I've heard a radio clip of Kerry, at one church after the other, intoning "It's grace that's brought me safe this far, and grace will lead me home." He recites it with no feeling whatsoever. Probably thinks it's a Bible verse, instead of a song about a "wretch." I hope God, in his grace, will lead the wretch back home to Massachusetts.
