They know they are behind--Flu Vaccine could tip election??

Elanor Clift knows her party is behind. Her article, "Flu vaccine shortage could tip election" is more indication that these dems know they are behind--and by large margins. It also is a good example why Government run health care would be a disaster. If she is blaming government for a simple vaccine shortage...what in the world would we do if Government had to control all vaccines...all medical patient treatment programs, all surgerires etc... What a nightmare. Wish someone would point this out on talk-radio and conservative outlets!

Every year they get people hysterical about the flu vaccine. Last year's flu vaccine didn't even cover the strain of flu that came out.

I hope they run with this. It was Hillary and others trying to socialize and level the playing field that caused American companies to opt out of production of the FLU vaccine and caused us to have to depend on foreign manufacturers..So go ahead Eleanor do your worst and bring down not only Kerry, but also the smartest woman in the world, Hillary. We will nominate you as woman of the year.

I laughed out loud when I heard some medical whiz on the radio admit that the vaccine didn't cover the main strain, but that it was very important to get it anyway. Maybe that's how they plan to distribute the pre-digestive enzymes before the alien invasion. ;)

I remember also that they couldn't stop talking about the swine or chicken flu that almost escaped from China last year and and if it had millions would have died.

I quit getting the vaccine after I got sicker than a DU'er two years in a row after getting it in the service. They say that it is absolutely impossible to contrive the flu from a flu vaccine, so maybe it was just a dirty needle.

This issue may work at the margins... A lot of neurotic people are obsessed with issues like this.

First,I don't know Elenor really wrote the arcticle.Second she should know better having interviewed and discussed at length both and usually two sides of the same arguement for years. One would think that to produce or support an admonishment as this at this time is Waterloo for her.Such that on the face it besmirches the present administration wheras the sins lay with the previous. The subject resurrects the litigation and hassle of providing anything in this Country thanks to trials lawyers like VP wannabe edwards.

I watched CNN tonite ( I know - my mistake) and Bill Schneider was playing the same tune - flu vac, shortage could tip election. Even spoke of the irony of shortage in health care availability during GWB watch on healthcare as that is what he predicts would happen under Kerry healthcare plan. Now, the BEAUTY of all this was that this conversation was segue from news that Bush had SURGED to an eight point lead in the CNN/USA poll (52-44). Schneider believed that this was because of ignoramuses in the electorate (or so he implied) because shockingly these same people said that Kerry won last debate 42-36. He said it must be that ignorant 22% who could not decide on debate providing the margin. Lastly, he cheerleaded the fact that the 8 point margin was in likely voters, but that Kerry could make it closer by getting registered voters to turn out (where he only trails by 3 - that means he still loses Bill by the way).

So here is the Bill Schneider take on the news - Bush surges up by 8 points BUT NOT ONE POSITIVE THING TO SAY ABOUT THE BUSH CAMPAIGN OR ITS CHANCES. Can you imagine how Schneider would have played if the poll had shown Kerry up 8 points?
