Will they do anything with only a few weeks until the election ?
That's the problem, If served today (as I was told); then an investigation by congress would probably ensue. I would expect that If he still wins, Edwards would fill out his term. However he might very well LOSE the Election unless he makes a VERY SINCERE AND CONVINCING (the overzealousness of youth, etc.) public retraction of his Congressional testimony about Vietnam and the Swiftboat Veterans. He's in a mess either way (of his own making).
