I hope this action by the Democrats gets a lot of publicity. My sense is that people really, really do not like this new trend of getting lawyers and courts involved in elections.
It is within people's power to stop this. All they have to do is conclude that Bush is going to win anyway, so let's make the win sufficiently lopsided that no amount of legal wrangling is going to change it. I'll bet there is a sizeable segment of lukewarm Kerry voters who really wouldn't be that upset if Bush won, but the one thing they don't want is more chad wars. The way to end them is to send a clear and convincing signal to the Democrats that lawyering the elections is not something people want to see. |

I would presume the "shove it" person is paying for all these attorneys ..?? Since the dems are whining for money, I don't know where they would get the loot for 1000 attorneys.

If there is one thing every court house in the country hates more is a visit by some arrogant NY lawyer (a close second is Dershowitz).
There's a certain poetic justice to see the Dems waste tons of their money on these sharks, who will be vilified outside of their dens.

Anyone who would deliberately put Americans through the kind of scene we went through in 2000 does not love this country.
Al Gore loved himself more than he loved America. So does Kerry.

This indicates they know they are going to lose and will instead try to manufacture a result. This is why the election cannot be close or we will be put through the same nonsense as last time.

My wife and I really, really hope we run into one of these attorneys at the polls. Oh yes we do. We really, really do. Please, Lord, let one of these @$$h0les try to make some kind of issue while we are voting!

The American people are not going to like this. They don't like trial lawyers as it is. This is going to backfire on lawyers so hard you are not going to believe it.
