Lando, do you have an opinion on how influential this endorsement will be among New Hampshire voters?

Not really, but I believe The Union Leader is the most circulated paper in NH. It's gotta help.

Has any newspaper endorsed Bush this year that didn't endorse him 2000?

I hope it will help. Bush has been a couple of points behind.

I'm really hoping New Hampshire will remain true to its motto: "Live Free or Die". How depressing if all of New England ends up blue.
To: Perdogg
I can't answer that, don't really have much idea. Maybe the Washington Post? They endorsed Bush, and I THINK they endorsed Gore in 2000.

I don't think they have endorsed anyone yet, but the buzz going around is that they will endorse Bush.

What is your source for The Washington Post endorsing Bush ? I haven't read anything about it !
To: Lando Lincoln
That's lovely. LOL (Yeah, the Pack looked good!! Too little, too late, I'm afraid...but I still love 'em.)
To: Lando Lincoln
On social issues, the President also wins. John Kerry says he respects pro-life Americans, yet he wants to force them to pay for abortions and embryonic stem cell research. He says he is against same-sex marriage, yet he would do nothing to stop it.
Absolutely PRECISE Summaries!

When did the WaPo endorse Bush????? Are you sure? I could have sworn that I read that posted on Free Republic, but I can't find it on a search. So maybe I'm just dreaming.
Or maybe it was on my last visit to that alternate universe?

To All:
"HUSSEIN REFUSED TO COMPLY WITH THE CEASEFIRE AND SUBSEQUENT RESOLUTIONS."
Hussein, on numerous occasions, attacked coalition aircraft and defied the international community by violating seventeen resolutions. We are still fighting the Persian Gulf War and so be it.
THIS IS THE SOLE REASON WE WENT BACK INTO IRAQ! When the very next liberal tells me differently, I'm going to repeat it, and repeat it, and repeat it again and again.

I don't know how many this endorsement will influence, but as a trasplant, it's mighty good to see. BTW, sent my absentee ballot out a few days ago. IMO it's Bush 1; Kerry 0. BUSH WINS NH!!!!!!! hehe
