I spent a good chunk of the summer in Dallas with relatives who live there and who get the Dallas Morning News on their doorstep every day. I may as well have read the Philadelphia Inquirer. Newspapers don't get any more goofy-liberal.

For that paper to dismiss Kerry like a housefly and, more incredibly, to come back and praise Bush the way they did is very encouraging. It gives me great hope for the country.

I'll give the paper the benefit of the doubt and assume that the regular Saturday night "Bush parties" and eight bajillion "Bush-Cheney" yard-signs in and around Dallas had nothing to do with the paper's decision to endorse Dubya.

Don't forget the possibility that a Freeper may regularly stay in contact with the Dallas Morning News.... Some might call it the "Adopt-a-Paper" strategy.
