Thanks for writing the original article, thanks for posting.
If you are not the lay person referred to in the article, is that person's name being withheld in the name of that person's safety, or simply a wish to stay out of the secular spotlight?
If YOU are the lay person, nice job. I had no idea a lay person could do the end-around.
If Kerry WERE, heaven forbid, elected, the apparently inevitable recognition of the excommunication and public denial of Communion would IMHO set off a state-religion civil and legal battle like we've never seen before in this country. With many of the levers of power in place, The Left would have a 50-50 chance of silencing public religious-based criticism.
Thank goodness, at least at this moment, that it appears unlikely.
What is still sad is that Kerry will probably get about half the Catholic vote.
I'm watching the Cardinals-Astros game, and lo and behold, the John Kerry "I'm a Catholic... I was an altar boy... faith and works, etc. etc...." ad has just aired. Had to change the channel.
I just can't figure out why he's airing it here in California.
I was under the impression he was far ahead here in the polls. They're running scared, IMO.
He has organized a non-profit organization called De Fide. You can get more information here:
