Los párrafos son nuestros amigos.
keep a list of for us and against us for the next two weeks..... and what was said so they cant erase their web sites afterwards cause they will want to.....
lets see if we can catch them with their pants down....
Thank God for new media! At least this time around there's a way to get the truth out.
I know...I should have done a couple of paragraphs...sorry. :)
I think the democrats have know they were going to lose for awhile. Their slash and burn tactics are an attempt to preemptively delegitimize the presidents coming win.
I won't become complacent, I still intend to vote as if we were a fraction of a point behind with ten minutes to go.
WE ARE WITNESSING LADIES AND GENTLEMENT THE END OF THE MSM.
RIP.
"democrats have know they were"
Stuned beeber, sorry.
I agree.. they will be using the next few weeks as an all out GET KERRY ELECTED campaign, spinning 24/7... Koppel started it with the VietNam lie piece and it continues on..
Think of this as the MSM's "Battle of the Bulge", with the MSM as Germany. One final, desperate attempt to turn the tide of the war in their favor.
Firstly, the Democrats and their media are blaming the President for the shortage of the Influenza vaccine; they claimed that Bush "outsourced" the job of manufacturing the vaccine to foreign countries. What they do not tell you is that the Clinton Administration and the trial lawyers made it impossible for American companies to invest in the vaccine program because with their policies, it became a high risk adventure (lawsuits from side effects) with minimal to low profit margin.
President Bush has advised the healthy young (ages 18-49) not to get the intramuscular vaccination and save it for the elderly and the very young (infants and children). However, do not forget that we have the FluMist, the flu vaccine that is administered intranasally which can be given very safely to Americans aged 5-49. Did Kerry say that? No...it is not in his best interests, he plays on our fears and repeats his litany of accusations without any plan to solve any problem.
Secondly, the Democrats and the media are protraying our uniformed men and women in Iraq as defying an order to provide fuel, ammunition to their fellow soldiers; this, the media says, is because they do not have armored vehicles or protection. Nonsense, this is only a group of Army reservists that probably heard what Kerry said: that the war is "the wrong war, the wrong time" and took it as an excuse to defy their superiors.
The overwelming majority (>67%) of our troops support the President and not the liberal Senator from Massachusetts. The group of soldiers should be dealt by the military system in a timely manner. And now something about the polls. You will see them see-sawing all over the place in the next 16 days; do not pay any attention to them. There is an inherent self-interest among the pollsters to become relevant to the public and it is in their self-interest to keep this race tied until the end in hopes of tilting the election to Kerry.
Remember 1992? The polls "tightened" two weeks before the election, but about one week before the election, then Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger was indicted in the Contra affair and the media went wild plastering that story in the front pages to derail Bush 41's momentum and tilt the election to Clinton. You can expect the same pathetic attempts by the media to tilt the election to Kerry . Expect stories about Karl Rove, Cheney and Rumsfeld. In short, be prepared for the barrage of the media bias.
But this time it will not work because the Democrats have Kerry, not Clinton as their candidate. John Kerry is wobbly, is immoral, has no core values; he is a collection of flesh and bones devoid of character and soul. George W. Bush may not be the perfect candidate, we all know that, but I tell you one thing: Bush has character, convictions, and a set of core values that shape his life, decisions and attitude. You stare into Bush's eyes and you see life in all its vivid colors, you stare into Kerry's eyes and see nothing... just total darkness...there is no integrity, integrity, integrity.
Thanks for the great laugh to start my Sunday. Just before I started to scroll down I said the same thing to myself.
There might be foreshadowing with lots of endorsements in Sunday papers. But I don't think the real stories are coming until monday morning.
I remember when a lot of us thought Koppel was an OK journalist, back before cable and Clinton. He is one of the worst.
The press took the summer off after the Reagan funeral. It was predictable that they would start in again right after Labor Day, and hammer Bush non-stop with a series of propaganda campaigns until election day.
Dan Rather's carelessness put them off stride, and as a result they lost almost a month's momentum. But they have finally succeeded in putting Rathergate in the background, although seriously crippling their credibility in the process.
Now, of course you are right. There will be a PLANNED and ORCHESTRATED campaign of vicious propaganda and lies for the last two weeks of the campaign. We are already seeing one strand of it--the "mutiny in Iraq" story that the press will be heating up over the coming week to prove that our troops are tired, discouraged, and losing. But there will be many more aspects of this multi-pronged and coordinated smear campaign of coverups and lies.
I think even the msm may know whats coming.I've watched a formerly old favorite the last two Sundays-CBS Sunday Morning.Last week the lead story took some shots at Bush-it was on the drug industry. This week it was the airlines and really left the election alone. The second story was on puppets.Osgood didn't put forth any anti-Bush poems, either. So,maybe they know whats going to happen.
Not a bad vanity - welcome to FR!
