Interesting...

Your theory assumes philosophical consistency, which I'm not certain is the case with Soros. (I see Soros as an amoral opportunist with megalomaniacal tendencies.) While communist leaders typically enjoy the fruits of capitalism, do they also immerse themselves in the capitalistic process?

How did you get the invite?

Yes, they do - for personal purposes. The rest of us - useful idiots, in Lenin's lingo - should build communism and rot in Gulags.

A good example is Dr Armand Hammer, Lenin's personal friend, KGB agent and bag-man in the USA, founder of the Occidental Petroleum and the Gore family sponsor. Both he and his son were staunch communists, but that didn't stop them from making fortune of Russian petrol from Baku, Russian art and czars' treasures from St Petersburg museums through their links with Bolsheviks.

Part of this money funded political careers of Albert Gore Sr and Al Gore Jr, as well as somewhat unsuccessful education of the latter.

I lived in Bulgaria then, was a free lance translator of books, fringe journalist and interpreter for many international events. A conference on future open society in Eastern Europe was part of Soros birthday party programme, and they needed interpreters for non-English speakers who were the majority among former "dissidents".
