Your analysis is top notch. President Bush has a winning strategy and he is not going to let Kerry and his minions bait him to do the wrong thing.
One more thing that I might add is the Weapons of Mass Dist-ruction issue. Anyone with half a brain knows that the WMD's do exist. However, in the chess game of geopolitics, that truth must be kept in the background noise, where you and I are pinging and blogging. President Bush will never say, 'the WMD's exist and I know where they are.' This is a critical game of strategy to be played. Because Kerry knows that Bush cannot reveal the truth of the matter, he not only says they never existed to justify going in to get them, but also repeats the mantra of the left that says President Bush lied about their existence to justify going in to avenge his father's failure in Gulf War I.
That Kerry would use for his own advantage the limitations posed by national security strategy shows the buttons he is willing to push to further his own ends. If he were to have the buttons of power at his disposal as President, the question for my fellow Freerepublicers is, to what extent would Kerry circumvent the Constitution to further the cause of socialism?
