With all the talk of voter fraud and scandal, I think people will be holding onto their ballots far longer than normal.

Not true. The assult story came out just as the ballots were being sent out, if I'm not mistaken. It is highly unlikely that even 1/10th of the votes were cast beforehand, most likely far less.
