An "eligible" voter is, by definition, a citizen, and they are a citizen whose voting rights haven't been rescinded (felons, etc.).

Voting is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. We don't vot for who wears the best tie at the debates, or vote for the most articulate of two. You'd get the sense that the Democrats think we're supposed to vote for "Prom King or Queen" with their objections to the Electoral College in favor of the Popular Vote.
I'd rather vote for a leader, than a used car salesman.

An "eligible" voter is, by definition, a citizenI agree (and I know what you meant). Unfortunately, there are now many in this country that do not support our sovereignty or our laws. To them, illegal aliens are "eligible voters". That is why I feel it's important to make the distinction.
