I was thinking Alexander Godunov for Ragnar, and Keith Carridine for Hank Reardon. Dennis Franz as James Taggart, Patricia Heaton as Dagny and Harvey Keitel for John Galt. I just got through watching Antonio Bandreas in the 13th warrior. He would be perfect as Francisco.
How about Clint Eastwood as John Galt??!! Okay, he's a little old .. but he was doing expressly "politically incorrect" films (the Dirty Harry series) LONG before the term "politically correct" had even been coined. I think he's a lot like John Galt. Maybe Mel Gibson would be a good John Galt, too. Or better, Bruce Willis.
I was picturing an actor who had a sort of uppercrust demeanor for James Taggart. Like a cowardly, sleazy Frasier Crane.
I agree with you about Alexander Godunov and Keith Carradine. I'm not sure about Harvey Keitel for John Galt though. I see a bigger, more ruggedly handsome man.
