"does not believe it was inapporiate Huh?
Was that Kerry's remark? I snipped his words, because I didn't want to read or spread his lame excuse sound bites about it.
Bloomberg did say it was inappropriate. I think about the mildest thing you could say about it.
#5...yesssssss....indeed.....
..why not name Barney...
...Barney is very open about this.....
What is Barney's sexual orientation? I wasn't aware of it, so they would definitely be outing him.
I'm sure he would have no problem with others putting words in his mouth. After all, we do it on this forum all the time! LOL
What stunned everyone was that it was such a crude, lowclass thing to do.
Exactly right, McGavin. It has absolutely nothing to do with being gay, or being ashamed or proud of that. It has everything to do with respecting the privacy of another person - particularly that of a person who has not chosen to put themselves in the spotlight in any way. Talk about violating the principles of simple human decency. And it seems they are so warped they can't even comprehend this basic principle.
That is exactly why Gephardt's comments annoyed me beyond belief, and why Liz Edwards made me see red. They apparently don't understand even the basic tenets of human decency.
Kerry and Edwards will use anybody at any time at any place, if it gets them what they want.
Congressman Barney Frank of Massachusettes is openly gay and speaks out often about his....uh.....inclination.
He would be an obvious person to select to reference, if John Kerry really wanted to highlight a gay point of view!!!!!
Gee, I wonder why he didn't think of that?????
I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that concept. I think the republicans need to get out there and act incredulous that the dems don't understand the concept of privacy. They are touting privacy concerns all over the place, yet they don't hesitate to violate the privacy of an American citizen by dragging her sex life out into public in front of 50 million people. The fact that the dems don't understand that should be stunning to everyone.
Please, soon-to-be-ex-governor McGreevey. Not senator, thankfully.
Keep it out there...a forceful statement should come when the initial media coverage begins to fade to get it back front and center.
