Cheney daughter off limits: Bush
NY Daily News ^ | Oct 16,2004 | Michael Saul and Celeste Getz

Posted on 10/16/2004 7:00:47 AM PDT by JustaCowgirl

President Bush gingerly waded into the controversy over John Kerry's remarks about Vice President Cheney's lesbian daughter yesterday. "The President of the United States does not believe it was appropriate for Sen. Kerry to bring [up] Mary Cheney at the debate," said White House press secretary Scott McClellan.

<...snip of Kerry's stupid excuse on the subject>

Mayor Bloomberg offered his 2 cents.

"I think it was inappropriate," Bloomberg said. "I think everybody's orientation is their own business.... Nobody should be talking about that."

Considering that the Rats claimed that President Clinton's sex life was a private matter, it is the height of hypocrisy that they think the sexuality of the Vice President's daughter is fair game.

300 million people in this nation and Kerry has to single out one individual.

Funny that Poodle boy didn`t mention one of his fellow Democ-rats Jim McGreevey who seems to have no problem letting the world know he is a "gay American".

The Left has always claimed that the government should not interfere in sexual matters. So, here we have a presidential candidate (the darling of the Left)specifically mentioning an individual's sexuality. It's like the female lawyer who (during Clinton's impeachment trial in the Senate) in her impassioned defense of Clinton said even if he had done all the things he was accused of it would not matter to her because he was such a strong supporter of women's rights.

We're on the same wave-length.

During MonicaGate, the media scolded us:

---It's private!
---It's about sex!
---If Hillary's OK with it then talking about it
makes you a sex-obsessed maniac!!!!

Now they sing a different tune. They don't understand that
it's "being about sex" has nothing to do with it. Ordinary Americans understand that a forbidden line was crossed. No matter how hard they try to spin it, the MediaCrats know it, too.

Can you imagine the howls of dismay and anger if George Bush had let 'slip' some fact about Kerry's Vietnam record? Or bring up the details of his prenup with Terayza. How about revealing something about his past sexual partners. And why not just discuss the details of Kerry's sexual practices with Terayza in the Presidential debate? That would be ok, wouldn't it?

On those last points, though, I have to say that thinking about Kerry's sex life make me want to barf all by itself, never mind any integrity or privacy issues.

Or how about if President Bush had said this during the debate and the topic of health care:

"We understand that mental health is a problem in the United States and we have a plan to address it. We are sure this will please Senator Kerry because his former wife Julia had a mental health problem and he loved her. Right up until he left her."

Kerry's screw up only served to fill the air waves with negative talk towards him, Edwards and 'thunder thighs'.

This is why I cannot understand why decent, normal people continue to support the DNC. It's there, it's in your face, but why can't they see it????
