Earlier, Judith Miller, a reporter for The New York Times, was held in contempt by Judge Hogan for refusing to testify about her sources in the case
How much you want to bet the same source the NY Times quotes for all their anti-Bush "Iraq intelligence reports" is the source for this?
How much do you want to bet the source is a Clinton appointee W should of fired?
How much you want to be this "leaked CIA agent" story is a fraud set up by the DNC to give them another thing to attack Bush on?
This sure smells like a Terry McAuffil DNC smear job.

"Karl Rove needs to come clean and tell us what he told the grand jury today," Mr. McAuliffe said. Wouldn't that be a felony?

Raise your hands (or ping me) anyone who thinks that these willing-to-be-jailed-for-contempt journalists are protecting a Republican source.

As we have come to expect of the uneven-handed old gray hag, the headline says it all when it could have noted instead: "Karl Rove not a target in leak probe"--or something similar.
I also note with amusement that the conjoined McAuliff and Lockhart each use the perjorative words "come clean."
Thanks for the post; this is a meaningful case that will likely reach the Supreme Court before long given that the court 20 plus years ago ruled that a reporter is a citizen and cannot refuse to respond in a criminal inquiry (simply put).

"come clean about their role in this insidious act."
Note that the article fails to mention that the real "insidious act" was the bald-faced lie that Wilson came back from Nigeria with, which McAwful and Lockhart no doubt played a part in.
The hypocrisy of the Rats is becoming so predictable, yet so over the top that it is no longer funny. Now it has become sickening.

He needs to come clean! When will the Democrats be forced to testify about selling Federal Judgeship's and holding off on Bush nominees at the behest of certain outside groups and organizations.
Folks,Do not let them forget Miranda Gate and the Memos. The so called "Mainstream Media" has swept this under the rug and this circumvents out Constitution.
They get all excited over the outing of an agent who was already known all over the world and who slept with her husband before they married and told him she was an agent.
Our government is being overthrown in front of our eyes and DC and the so called "Mainstream Media" sits by complaining over knit picking crap like this.
