My hope is that the loathsome Kerry/Edwards campaign will suffer dire consequences for their remarks about Mary Cheney, among the litany of other wrongs they do and represent.
This has damaged Kerry and also Edwards because of his bitchy wife implying that Mrs. Cheney is ashamed of one of her daughters.
However, I think it would be wise if Bush or Cheney went out at some campaign appearance and said, "Enough of this. We disagree with what Kerry, Edwards, Edwards' wife and Cahill have said and done, but that's not what is going to decide this election. What's going to decide this election is whether the American people want to turn this country's national security over to a 20-year U.S. Senator whose legislative accomplishments were largely ceremonial and whose votes went against our military and intelligence communities."
It's probably time to drop this before undecided voters get sick of hearing about it.
