Kerry Discharge Story May Have Legs

Driving home from work tonight, I heard a spot on WLS in Chicago for the Terry O'Brien Sunday talk show. It seems her lead topic will be the less than honorable discharge many suspect Kerry received from the Navy. This is the first mention, to my knowledge, on the public airwaves regarding this subject. With persistent FREEPing, perhaps other media outlets will pick up the story.

I contend that this election has been the most polarizing event in our nations history since the Civil War. I have listened to friends/relatives who I know to be intelligent in many areas describe our President as stupid and laud the unspecific promises made by Kerry. Many base their support of Kerry on the most thoughtful, discerning, comment possible...."I hate Bush".
Not that the leftist media every required documentation for their stories, but while military records can prove that the Swift Boat Vets were in theater, does Koppel have anyway of proving that the "villagers" he interviewed were actually present on the night in question?
My biggest fear regarding the campaign finance reform act is being realized......the partisan media controls the content of information being disseminated during this critical period. The dnc already has a plan in operation to undermine confidence in our election process in the event their efforts at voter fraud that were unsuccessful in 2000 fail to succeed once again.
In my state, the dems and the dem governor fought and won the battle that would have made it mandatory to produce a photo ID at the polling site. A caller to a radio station in Milwaukee commented that she had to provide a photo ID to access her municipal dump, but not to vote.
If the stakes weren't so high, one could laugh at the thought of anyone who would support a candidate with a pathetic record as a legislator; a military record he is unwilling to release and a decision making process that is textbook paranoid schizophrenic.
God bless us all and I pray our nation remains sovereign and in the capable hands of President Bush.

Forget TV... after kids, what's the last MOVIE you saw? ..... My son also has watched me on FR, though once I clicked on a video clip that had Michael Moore, and as soon as his face came on screen, my son started to howl and cry (true story!).
The last movie I saw was the original Jaws. If Hollyweird would depend on people like me for money, they wouldn't exist. I spent as much time with my daughter as I could, and she is now a freshman at Texas A&M. She and her friends have all requested absentee ballots and are voting Bush in 04.
I can imagine the howling and screaming from a kid seeing michael moron on the screen. I try not to look at threads that have his name (or Helen Thomas, the toon family, etc.) in the title, as I know someone will post their picture somewhere in the thread.

Notwithstanding whether or not Jimmuh Carter gave him a pardon, the voters have a right to know whether or not this guy got a BCD or DD.
If by some fluke he wins, I'll wager there will be a FOIA lawsuit to find out the details and the judgement will have to be public before inauguration day.
Maybe thats the "November" surprise.....if he tanks the election....who cares.

But the MSM story would be "Bush takes campaigning to new low... impugns Kerry's military record... new evidence Bush lying about never questioning Kerry's service...."
I disagree. This would be a slam dunk and headline the National News for days. If the Bush administration gives Kerry a pass on this and loses the election, I'll never forgive them. Here's all he needs to say:
Bush: My supporters continue to ask me why the MSM hasn't been the least bit curious to persue finding out why my opponent hasn't released his military records. I don't have the answer. It does seem strange since MY military record has been scrutinized for several years. I do find it odd that anyone running for President (The Commander In Chief) wouldn't at least sign the form to release their military records. I find it even more odd that the press hasn't demanded to see it.

"If Kerry wins, they might. A big story is still a big story... and they covered Clinton's fiasco even while grumbling about it." The liberal media tried as hard as they could not to cover the Clinton Fiasco. Drudge had to break Lewinsky because Newsweek sat on it. The Wall Street Journal editorial page broke Broaddrick because NBC sat on it. They sat on Paula Jones for months even though they went after Clarence Thomas and Bob Packwood relentlessly. 60 Minutes actually broke Cathleen Willey but then appologized for it.
And no one broke the unnamed women, though they go after Republicans for charges by unnamed women like they did with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
When the liberal media did cover Clinton, they portrayed it as a Republican witch hunt into his private life even though he lied in a sexual harassment case, and even though the liberal media portrayed the Dems heroically going after the public actions of Republicans when it was Thomas and Packwood.
It was the coverage of the liberal media that saved Clinton. Had they treated Paula Jones, Cathleen Willey, Juanta Broaddrick and the two unnamed women the way they treated Saint. Antia Hill and the Packwood Women, Clinton would have been thrown out of office because he would have lost popular support.
When a Republican is accused of making dirty jokes it is a public, women's issue and the woman, St. Antia Hill, is deified in the liberal media.
When a Democrat is accused sexual exposure, sexual assault, and rape it is a personal, private problem and ALL the women are either demonized like Paula Jones and Cathleen Willey, or ignored like Juanita Broaddrick and the at-least two unnamed women by the liberal media.

Maybe, or maybe it was evident that he was an FBI informant at the time, If that were true, one would be able to assume that Kerry had some ounce of patriotism in his bones.
I find it to be lacking given his behavior since his time in the service.
He doesn't seem to have the best interests of this country at heart.
Wouldn't President Bush know that Kerry was an informant, and try to derail the attacks on Kerry's service? He does say Kerry served honorably, but if this "informant" theory were true, I think there would be a much greater effort to stop the investigations into his background.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think so.
To: EODGUY
I agree, but it is Bush's fault for caving in and signing it. Has anyone but me noticed that the Democrats, who were for Campaign Finance Reform were ready to go with the 527s as if they planned it from the beginning? Soros also was for CFR and then was ready to go with the 527s. Obviously, John McCain was once again whoring for the liberal media. Even though his CFR was an idiotic failure, Democrats and the liberal media still give him credit for it.
Are the lawyers at the RNC morons who couldn't figure out the 527 loop hole?
