That bears repeating!
"Catholics" like Kerry, Kennedy, Daschle, and Pelosi, all of whom want the government to pay for abortions, are frauds and actually anti-Catholic.

Your #33 is brilliant! And yes, I did know about McCorvey's conversion---but it's a media well kept secret.

Very good question -- the Holy Innocents.

He then made a not-so-veiled attack on Evangelicals, including the president, who he believes use the Bible as a means of demonizing others to promote their own agenda. He labeled this the politics of exclusion and claimed Kerrys view of the Gospel is one of openness, tolerance, and inclusion.
Mr. Valdez sounds like he's being closed-minded, intolerant, and exclusionary. It's always funny to see moral-liberals laud the freewill of perverts and criminals while decrying the freewill of neighbors, voters, pro-life politicians, judges, and juries.

Not a Catholic myself, but I'm assuming that Catholics are Christians. Therefore, there are certain priorities for the Christian's life:
1. God
2. Spouse
3. Family
4. Country
5. Job
So...how can the line from Valedez stand "The senator knows how to keep his faith and his politics separate..."?
No brainer.

**I know some folks who are voting for Kerry because they think he's Irish Catholic.**
Oh, how sad!
Can you print off one of the Catholic articles and put it in front of their eyes? I pray that you can change their minds.

Very good advice.
Pray, pray, pray.
And remember to pray for President Bush too.

Yes, Catholics are Christians. Did you see The Passion of the Christ? It was made and produced by a Catholic!

A Catholic should vote by their conscience. But a Catholic's conscience should be informed by truth.

"I looked her straight in the eye and said, "The abortion that Mr. Kerry supports kills 4,000 babies every day. I haven't heard any death reports from any war with those numbers, have you?"
WOW! You told her!
I bet she never tries that again, and hopefully you gave her enough to think about and she will change her vote.
I think I'll use your line on my liberal (Dean & Kerry lover) neighbor who just so happens to be pro-life. Her head might explode though, but I'll give it a shot. LOL!

Pope John Paul II has made some damning statements about the war in Iraq.
Should that be countenanced?

Thanks. She really astonished me by saying that she would vote for Kerry.

You might also click on that Catechism link and give her the one about the grave sin of supporting abortion if she is pro-life.

Of course. But the war in Iraq is in no way comparable to the willful destruction of human life in abortion.

Informed conscience, and hopefully the Catholics are seeking the truth through the Bible and the Catechism and not the local liberal priest.
BTW, most of the younger priests are VERT conservative!
The pendulum of the church had swung all the way over to the left and it is coming back to thr right of center now!
Lord have mercy on us for all the erroneous counsel that has been uttered throughout the world and guide us to the turth.

Would you vote for a candidate who was pro-life, but also pro-slavery? Yes, *if* the other candidates were worse. If another candidate was pro-abortion but anti-slavery, the right choice would still be the pro-life candidate, ceteris paribus, because murder is a greater evil than slavery.
