You bring up a good point -- Thune should slam Daschle on his connection to Kerry a little more. But whatever. He's still doing a great job.

Wow, you ain't a kiddin! Thune is very together. Republicans around the country could learn a lesson from him in political confrontation. He is being tough as hell with out being mean. Very likable.

I've heard Reid (Nevada) and Dodd (Connecticut) are mentioned as possible minority leaders. When you think about it, the Dems were stupid for electing a leader from a Red State.

If the people of South Dakota vote for "Tom" because they care more about influence and pork coming their way then the future of the nation then I will fully support condemning the whole state as traitors and working towards making sure they are dead last in federal funding. SD has a chance to be a great hero state or a selfish one that should be shunned.
