Do Republicans scream?
Just how was it that ABC even FOUND this village?
Lots of questions....
Like George Soros connection to ABC.
You forgot that at ABC, one must be unfair to the Republicans to be fair to the Democrats.
I wonder what's going to be different from last night's Koppel whuppin.
I saw the Nightline about this last night. There were so many absurdities involved (the teenage boy Kerry admits shooting alone behind the hooch was actually a big scary 26 year old Vietcong who wasn't shot dead by anybody behind a hooch, but they are sure that this is the guy Kerry shot, though nobody there saw Kerry or anybody else shoot him), it won't help Kerry one bit. It will just keep reminding people that there are lots of questions about his accounts of his war heroics.
I hope swift vets demand equal time. of course we don't have to worry about ABC being fair and balanced.
EQUAL TIME FOR SWIFTVETS!
Bill Burkett provided them the coordinates ;^)
Good for you ABC, go the same way as CBS and Rather. . .and suffer their fate. Sure, you are doing a positive piece on Kerry as opposed to a hit piece on Bush, but we know. We know that you are only telling one side of this story. We know you don't have the guts to interview John O'Neil or to truly look into the Swiftvets accusations. The viewers know and the American people increasingly (by the day) know. We all know that you are not just biased, but without any integrity and honesty.
So aire your wittle piece and continue to watch your ratings slump and continue to blame it on the "stupidity" of the viewership. P.S. Thanks for inspiring me to donate to the Swifties. If you won't grant them equal time, I will help them purchase it themselves.
ABC "News" (nudge! nudge! wink! wink!)
Just how was it that ABC even FOUND this village?
The communist government of Vietnam (the one that recognizes John Kerry as a hero of their struggle and has a vested interest in insuring he wins the election) arranged Nightlines entry into the country and provided them with a captain who could take them right to the village, where they could meet people who vividly remember this specific firefight (its never really explained why this particular firefight stuck out so vividly in a decade-long war on their river) almost forty years later and can confirm that John Kerry was telling the truth, even though their account is completely different than John Kerrys account.
The whole thing is a bit too nuanced for non-Democratic minds to wrap their clear-thinking heads around.
ABC wants to make sure kerry gets the Viet Cong vote.
Demand Equal Time!

Wow. KerryEdwards2004, the DNC, MoveOn, and DU are real;y going to hit the roof complaining about this to the FCC.
They just had a testimonial to him last night on Nightline. How many more do they need?
This is so effed up. I hate our media-- I really, really do.
Place your bets ladies and gentlemen!
How much of Hanoi Johns reenactment home movies from Viet Nam showing him decked out as a grunt will be shown to validate his hero status?
Makes me wish GWB did not stop short with his comment the other night about news organizations and their misinformation. He should have let them have it.
I'm proud of the care I gave to those sick people, and I would do it again in a heart beat. I treated wounded enemy, because we needed the intel. Keep them healthy so they could talk, and it worked about 80% of the time. I didn't like it, but I did it. But, they came after the innocent villagers that were sick, infirmed, or wounded.
What I am saying is this, if I saved them from death, and I did in some cases, they couldn't remember me, nor could I remember them. War erases things for a good reason.
