O. K. I said this in an earlier thread. It's time for the Prez to USE THE BULLY PULPIT. Call a press coference to settle this question once and for all and define sKerry as the fear-monger he is trying to frighten young adults and breed anxiety in their parents.

Mr. President, it's time to use everything at your disposal as an incumbent. USE THE BULLY PULPIT / CALL A PRESS CONFERENCE.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

He hasn't called press conference, but he's said over and over that he won't do it. He said it in the debate. Kerry and the media just keep lying.

It's at a point where making a big to-do about it is not helpful. He should just keep saying he's not going to do it.

You're not wrong and I suspect he will before the day is out. I was just listening to Rush and he mentioned that a report came out that Bush was polling well with the college crowd and he thinks that's why Kerry revived this draft scare today.

Agreed. Given the continuing national coverage of Kerry's lie (posted in reply 33 and elsewhere), President Bush needs to set the record straight.

Today's Democratic Party is scum. Zell Miller was right.
