The 'on the cheap' solution is to take that VCR that is likely gathering dust, take a tuner or even just a portable radio, get a mini-RCA adapter, and plug it into the audio inputs on your VCR. Then set the timer on the VCR to record your shows.

This only works if both programs are on the same radio channel, and playback can be done through the VCR. Most VCRs will record six hours of audio, plenty for Rush and Savage.

Thanks, k. I've got a Sony Super BetaMax and a Sony VHS at home, and haven't used them in many years. I'll explore this further.
