Indeed. Why even one article noted that Dolores Jackson of Reno, a Kerry supporter who attended the rally, took the raisin and gin remedy seriously. That same article also quoted Dr. Michael Gerber, a noted homeopathic doctor in Reno, also said the formula has merit.
It makes sense, said Gerber from his office. People go to hot springs to soak in the water and that water is very high in sulfur. So Mrs. Kerrys remedy is pretty plausible.
Well, I stuck to it for a week, didn't lose any weight, but didn't give a $hit either.
I've heard of it too. An older lady that I knew would use this as she had already had ulcers from normal arthritis meds and couldn't take them.
