I always suspected that gin had a lot to do with Madame Teresa Nutbar's public statements. Maybe she and Maureen Dowd share a few dry ones every day before pontificating on the issues of the day. But thanks for the confirmation.

About 30 years ago I tried "THE WINE AND CHEESE DIET" that's all you had all day.
Well, I stuck to it for a week, didn't lose any weight, but didn't give a $hit either.

I was once told by an old native american medicene man, that spider webs placed over skin wounds will promote faster healing, skin growth, and prevent scaring. While it may not be as fun as the raisin + gin cure, it more likely to be based on fact.

If you've only gots dark raisins --- ain't it good enough??
Also, I would note to Mrs. T that the remedy, in her case, works much better if the raisins are consumed in suppository fashion!
