Assault musket? LOL.
http://www.gunsamerica.com/ or www.gunbroker.com
eBay isn't worth the FFFG to blow it up.
By the way, even John Kerry hasn't tried to call ANY gun with a thumbhole "assault", just semi auto's. This is so ignorant.
An auction is coming up in my area in the next couple of weeks. It is a gun dealer who went out of business. Lots of stuff like I've sold time and time again on eBay, like scope mounts for 870 Remingtons, black powder accessories, ivory revolver grips, ect. Damned if I'll buy any to sell on eBay now, regardless of if they apologize and admit error (doubtful - my experience is that eBay won't back down, they're always right). Ebay will lose several hundred dolars in fees for this STUPIDITY.
Sorry about that, man... whaddya ya got to sell? I been thinking about putting a folding stock and flash suppressor on my Tulle Fusil de Chasse... ;P
Thankfully, I now have only this one $12 item ($28 retail - RTA's bargain city!) left that is gun-related. I've sold all that I bought from my last purchase at auction. I wish there was an alternative to eBay, they are VERY irksome and dictatorial and have had me hot more than once over stupidity. I am partially disabled and this is how I make my living, and they try to make it as unpleasant and difficult as possible time and time again.
Not even close, and only fits muzzleloader. That's what makes this SO FREAKING STUPID!
You can reload that in just 20 seconds? Dude!
That is very odd. I'm guessing that eBay went that overboard on the advice of "lawyers" trying to avoid the possibility of any suit.
Yet another reason we need tort reform in this country.
I think E-Bay has a long history of anti-gun activities.
By actions as you have experienced, the veil is torn away from the simple claim of anti-gun activists that they are concerned about criminal use of firearms, danger to little children, or weapons being used by terrorists. Anti-gun fanatics hate the entire concept of a citizen being permitted to own anything remotely resembling a weapon in any form. They are cartoon charactures of a deranged "Tarzan" breaking "thunder-sticks".
Go to some other other on-line sites to sell your firearm. According to Federal Law and the laws of most sane states (New Jersey obviously excluded) a black powder muzzle-loader, original or working replica, is not even considered a firearm.
I don't think ebay allows for any types of guns to be sold. But I might be wrong on that. I know they shut down a tobaccow pipe auction because the said it was "drug pariphinalia" even though it was a classic tobacco pipe.
Benefit of the doubt for someone lightning fast, and still not "assault" speed, to say the least.
It wasn't a gun, it was an accessory like a sling or scope cover.
Relist is as an antique or re-enactment piece of art.
If you use that Fusil in a national forest you'll need a spark dampener to cut down on the possibility of a stray spark setting off a wild fire.
Send a note to ebay and tell the little crybaby sissies that you have decided to take you business over to
www.Gunbroker.com
M<ost folks that are looking for gun stuff don't look to ebay anyhow because of them being so childish about guns.
You're pretty efficient. I couldn't reload that sucker in 20 seconds.
Disturbing indeed! Well, you fully realize the ignorance of the left, once again clearly evident here. Probably some lefty moron working at E-bay.
For folks that continually rant about education, they sure are ignorant on a good many things of importance in life!
Naturally we all know full well that when they say "education" they really mean indoctrination into their ways of thinking while, as the good fascists that they are, make every attempt to suppress truth and real education. How much more obvious can it get!
Have you tried auctionarms.com? I've bought clips and a holster off of that site. It's pretty easy to use as well.
I had a part to an M1 Garand cancelled due to a violation of their assult weapon ban policy. I complained as did several others and they conceded for the time being. It is my opinion that it's gust a matter of time before ebay bans all gun related items. Their HQ is in CA. so what else would you expect. It would be nice if someone would start a gun parts exchange auction site that could link directly through ebay when someone does a search for gun parts or gun related items. I know gunbroker and auctionarms offer parts but they do not get near the traffic that ebay does.
