Can you cite a source for this? I have not heard this before about Kerry's brother. If he was truly the recipient of a quid pro quo contract, this needs to be shouted far and wide.

It wasn't Kerry's brother, it was his cousin (not that it matters much).

From "Unfit for Command:"

The year after his (Kerry's) committee's vote to give Communist Vietnam a clean bill of health, the strangest thing happened. In December, 1992, Vietnam signed its first huge commercial deal, worth at least $905 million, to develop a deep-sea commercial port at Vung Tau to accommodate all the trade that was to come. At the time, the chief executive officer of this company was C. Stewart Forbes. Name sound familiar? It should. He is Senator John F. Kerry's cousin. What a coincidence!

I thought it was a cousin. I saw it on a few threads, however I don't remember the particulars.
