What an idiot. I wish Ailes would fire his sorry rear end. I'd rather listen to chaulk being scraped over a blackboard than listen to his pompous nonsense.

Looks like he should have kept his " Big mouth shut" before now. If he had, he wouldn't be in the jam he now finds himself stuck.

Take it for what it's worth, but Bo Dietl called in to Imus this morning, and said his company (a corporate security firm) has had dealings with this Morelli character in the past, and Bo strongly intimated that Morelli is a major sleaze who (if I heard it correctly) attempted something with one of Bo's clients similar to what he's now trying to do to O'Reilly. Unfortunately, Imus cut Bo off before we could get any details, because Imus got mad that Bo wouldn't stop talking when he wanted to get a word in.

It the big mouth Mr. O'R did this, then those obscene phone calls should have been reported to the Phone Co and police who could then have ordered taps and apart from a deep pockets law suit, this could send you know who to jail.

When I was the victim of sleezy phone calls from someone I did not know those were the steps I took..I called the police first. They came to my apt, took a report and we were getting the phone co involved to track calls (this was before caller ID days) and lucky for me the calls stopped..think the perp saw the cops...but to just go for deep pockets..I don't know,,,

Asked what his wife thinks of the accusations, O'Reilly said, "We don't talk about any of this."

Sure, I believe that.

I so do NOT believe this woman. Regardless of how anyone feels about O'Reilly - her story and this lawsuit stink..She lost ALL credibility after the following was revealed:

1. She ASKED to come back to work for O'Reilly after she left to go to CNN

2.She never made a complaint to Human Resources at FOX about the alleged harassement.

I also read that she left CNN due to similar circumstances.

I think this girl has burned some bridges in her field and is looking for a big payday. I also believe that a connected Dem has made her believe that bringing suit against O'Reilly is a good thing and is financially back it.

Even if O'Reilly is the biggest dog at Fox (and he may be) - why did she continue to work for him? Why did she COME BACK to work for him? 60 million is a ridiculous amount of $$ and I would place a healthy bet that this entire suit has DNC money backing it. This is POLITICAL pure and simple.

I think this can bring O'Reilly down

That's the goal.

Anyone who can't see CNN behind this is blind.

O'Reilly has very distinctive speech patterns, and it would be very easy to write dialogue that sounds plausibly like him. In the hands of a good mimic, that could do amazing damage.

Hah! O'r is keeping his mouth shut? Like last night when he ogled and leered at Ann Coulter, making remarks about her "short little skirt" and asking her if men are afraid of her? And saying too bad he never had a teacher that looked like her? Ad nauseam?

The guy is out of control. He needs a shrink. If he already has one, he needs to get a new one.

Should she have just hung up the phone? Why did she stay on the phone long enough to hear those many aledged stories, etc.?

I was tempted to give him the benefit of the doubt until reading this incredible statement which I'm not buying:

Asked what his wife thinks of the accusations, O'Reilly said, "We don't talk about any of this. It's nothing to do with me - it's with the lawyers."

Unless his wife is totally bullied by O'Bloviator, there's no way they're not discussing this ad infinitum.

My God, I have got to do something about it.'"

So, instead of writing up a formal complains, or, heaven forbid HANGING UP THE PHONE, she does to a lawyer and the solution is about $60 Million dollars. I'm truly beginning to hate the way this Country is going. Maybe the great experiment isn't turning out as great as we thought.

. I think this can bring O'Reilly down."

That's the point isn't it?

He may very well have said these things, but she hung around too much. This is political, that is the most disgusting of all. I have no use for O'Reilly and don't care if he loses his job, but I do think she set him up. ( Not saying what he did is right, but she should have immediately reported him,and stayed away from him. That she didn't is very telling.)
