If soeone can get a clear screen shot of the dead V.C.'s tombstone it would be appreciated.
It either had on it 4.5.12.1.1969 or H.S. 12.1.1969
Neither adds up with the date of battle 2.28.1969 or 28.2.1969.
admin moderatorPlease delete post or correct y typo. sorry.
It might be a typo but it's very appropriate ;-)
my laptop keys are dying. I feel so bad now.
It's fixed. Maybe someone on the west coast cn get a screen shot. I missed that part of the "well researched expose".
I don't have the ability to do a screen shot, but I CAN bump the thread! I sure hope you find what you're looking for.
Me? I'm still trying to figure out what time it comes on out here in CA. I'm afraid 11:30....and I WON'T be able to watch it.

Check around on this site...see if they have any pics.
I'll grab it in 30 minutes.
Not sure if it's significant, but it's clearly 1916.
My fingers are crossed. I crossposted to all the Nightline threads.
Someone else caught an oddity in the date first

GIDYUUP could be the next Buckhead.
Jenya & Interesting Times Tivo'd the date.
I would like a transcript. "you've been had, Ted."
Thanks!! It would be good to have a visual to bury Koppel.
I'll take "Been Had" for $200 Alex.
I pointed this out earlier. Of all the firefights in the vicinity of that village (and major arms depot so they claimed) how do we know they are remembering the one with Kerry? Perhps the one they spoke of in the program occurred earlier or later. No one is even sure if it is the correct village. It's curious that they all live in the same place 35 years later too. Do you live in the same place you did 35 years ago?
I'm wearing my lucky pajamas.
Heck all the people in the film could have been Kerry's pals from Paris.
Good points on all accounts.
Great catch with your Tivo!
I gotta get some sleep but I hope this gets wings.
Thanks. Actually, I have a 60" bigscreen. I grabbed H.S. 12.1.69, but the S could have been a 5.
I think it's a safe assumption that his date of death is 12/1/69.
Does anyone know what kind of calender the Vietnamese use. Is is a Lunar Calender, a Roman Calender or another? I ask this because I know for a fact that the Japanese use the Japanese Imperial Calendar and unless you were schooled in how to read it you wouldn't have a clue as to what day or even year it was.
