The only time I ever fired a weapon, i was with a friend of mine (we were both 19 or 20) and he took me to his Uncle's property north of Gridley, CA.

My friend gave me a shot gun (I have no idea what kind) and told me how to stand and hold it. I remember his last words being, "Brace your self, it's got some kick to it."

Well, I'm a big guy. So I'm thinking, "Yeah, yeah... a little kick, I can take it."

So I aimed at the target he set up, pulled the trigger, and yup... you guessed it, landed flat on my back. (Missed the target, too)
