Search the posts from late last night/early morning.Someone posted her email addy, and a few of us have already emailed.
Kerry talks about a "Global Approval" strategy for foreign policy. I guess he's starting already even before the election. At least he's consistent ...for once!
I see Soros' fingerprints all over this! Anyone know if he has connections to the Guardian?
If you guys want to get your own back on the Guardian - write an email to the Telegraph. This right-wing UK paper is the Guardians sworn enemy and would LOVE to hear from you.
The email address for letters to the editor is dtletters@telegraph.co.uk
Tell some *sensible* British people what you think about the Guardian's action.
Whenever we here in America want lessons on how to be a Second-World has-been nation, we'll ask for your opinion. In the meantime, you will be attempting to influence our national elections at your own peril.
In other words, you Euro-twits lay one hand on our election and I guarantee you'll draw back a stump.
Sincerely,
Joe American
"You REALLY want me to pull this bus over and come back there??"
Email is good but not good enough. They have published the home addresses of Ohio citizens for sending snail mail, they should enjoy the same privilege.
There are times when I wish I could colonize a planet and either take all the sane humans with me or send all the crazy ones their.
This is one of those times.
To wit, someone should learn/discover the home address of Oliver Burkeman, Guardian editors, and anyone else involved in the publication of this, and publish it on a website, so that we Americans may, in turn, write to them personally and let them know how we feel about their participation in the domestic election of our country of which they are not citizens.
I'm serious. Someone should get started on this.
I think this is a wonderful idea. I would be more than happy to help such a patriotic effort! It is hospitality at its best.
That's more or less what we said in our emails, hehe,no offense to the right-minded Brits.
Excellent post! High five, thank you.
Reform your politics and economic systems so you are not so dependent on what America does or doesn't do.
Yeah, the obsolete monarchy sucks down millions of pounds a year. About £34 million a year in fact.
Cheap for a shield against tyranny you might think. Meanwhile Tony Blair's crass errors on the EU Disposal of Fridges directive costs the UK £74 million a year.
And the recent spiralling-out-of-control costs of the NHS computer system - 30 BILLION POUNDS. Yes, it's costing each and every taxpayer in Britain £12,000 personally.
So pardon me if I think the royal family is pretty good value.
Can somebody report this to FBI?
First, I do not mean to offend those Brits that allow us Americans to make a our own *right* choices.
I appreciate your clarification on the paper, as you have first hand knowlege. thank you kindly
I'd be happy to do so,and I agree, how do we get the addresses? After all, the outcome of their upcoming elections will have a great influence on American foreign policy, and we have the right to influence them because of that{rolling eyes}.
Does this bring to mind the efforts of Kerry's sister to influence the Australian elections? John Howard in a speech yesterday talked about our President as a good man, right for the job, words to that effect. He never mentioned Kerry.Well, considering that Kerry's sister interfered in their elections and tried to have Howard voted out...
A Google search reveals a serious connection between Soros and the Guardian.
"The Guardian and its parent groups are a participant in Project Syndicate [1] (http://www.project-syndicate.org/), established by George Soros..."
