My husband thought that Bush was rushed off the stage. Maybe there was some security concern that he told Kerry about or maybe Bush was just due somewhere and needed to fly out immediately.
Did you notice there was a lot of cheering going on and the NBC camera was showing Kerry waving as if the cheers were for him? Bush rushed off the stage and the cheering stopped. Kerry left out on the stage with the silence then works to get his family off the stage.
