Who won the debate and the youth
MTV ^ | MTV

As a youth I am tired of hearing we are "naturally" going to vote liberal and fully believe the left fear the youth movement. If you go to chooseorlose.com which is run by Mtv there is a poll on who won the debate and so far it's a 55 to 44 percent victory for Bush. Also another thing I question is chooseorlose recently did a pre-election day electronic vote and yet this is the fourth day they have not released the results and in an electronic age I would figure the results would be calculated much like there poll (meaning instantly). Are their liberal bosses afriad to post what my generation has chosen for our voice.

TOPICS: Politics/Elections

Vortexsg you are the future my love and your smart, informed and cynical. Always a great combo. I am impressed. At your age I had bought the liberal BS hook, line, and sinker. I have a feeling a lot of people your age are smarter than the Michael Moore's of the world would have us all believe.

Welcome to FR! The 'rats forgot to vote in the MTV poll. You made a great contribution here tonight by mentioning MTV and what they're doing to downplay Republicans.

Thanks for the compliments and let me say this I have no friends my own age or close who would even question voting the liberal line. Hence why I believe MTV execs have been stalling for this debate in hopes Kerry would win so that this drastic news wouldn't hit to hard.

I couldn't agree more, contrary to popular belief this generation is remarkably conservative. I being a 21 year old college student (translation major front line) have witnessed some impressive displays in our conservative youth. They are bright, passionate, and inspired. Most importantly they don't buy into the MSM anymore. Because of this are better educated and informed. Liberals will need to watch out for us in the future

Maybe young American men also think Kerry looks like a loser on a snowboard and young American women also think Kerry shouldn't be disgusting the world by showing his white hairy legs while windsurfing.

All these pollss saying it was a draw ......remember this is the debate where the males were peeled off watching the playoffs, leaving the remainder heavily female. As Kerry supposedly has a significant lead among women (at least before snubbing his own wife tonight), the polls would distort to the Dem side.

The choose or lose poll at MTV has changed. It's now at 54% Kerry and 45% Bush.

I followed the link and voted Bush.
