I must admit, I was truly please with the Presidents performance last night. He was open and friendly, and that really means a lot. f'nkerry was .... to put it no other way, did nothing but bloviate, some of his answers were like diarrhea of the mouth.
The comment about Cheneys daughter was so uncalled for. At the VP debate, I was surprised that he didn't smack the breck boy (as I would have done)
My 14 year old daughter and I sat and counted tongue flicks from the senator.... that was both gross and entertaining.

When he spoke about his adored wife...oh my, my heart stopped. When he spoke about her speaking better English than he does and it was love at first sight. Such a man to give her such unveiled emotion and desire and unwavering love.
I thought this was great too. Both sKerry and Bush mentioned that they had married up. Bush was referring to how wonderful his wife is. sKerry was referring to how much money his wife has. BIG DIFFERENCE!!
Let's hope that othere watching noticed the same thing.

It was quite clear how Kerry implied how government would do for you, and Bush implied how government would help you do for yourself.

Even worse was his answer on social security. He's going to bring "experts" together if it becomes a problem? If Allen Greenspan says it's a problem, it's a problem.

"I just wanted Bush to turn to Kerry whenever he (Kerry) invoked his 1% of the richest Americans BS and say "Senator you and your running mate are part of the richest 1%, how did you personally benefit from my administrations tax policies?" Even better, I'd have liked to see him ask how on Earth Hanoi John and TuhRAYzuh get away with paying a 12% effective tax rate.
