What does "fair game" mean in this context? Is Cahill just hopelessly inarticulate and vague in general, or did she explain? Why are the adult children of candidates fair game about their sexual choices in ANY context?
Cahill just absolutely poured salt in that wound with her weak defense of Kerry's bringing up Mary Cheney's sexuality. But how do you defend the indefensible?
