I thought Bush did a very strategic thing within the first 5 minutes, that threw Kerry off the whole night. I don't remember the exact quote, but Bush said Kerry didn't have a plan. It would just empty promises and criticism. I thought after that comment, that Kerry tried to be more specific about some of this plans, but just stammered all over the place. Almost every response was a criticism of Bush. Even on the religion question, he got around to bashing Bush about half way into his response.
Bush was always talking about his plan. You may not agree with him, but at least he laid something out. He was always talking about the future. All Kerry did was look back. 75% of the time, he said something like "the failure of this administration....". He never did talk about what he would really do. Basically just complained.
And the final question. Bob was trying to hand Kerry a golden opportunity to address one of his key issues. Is Kerry a warm and caring person. He even had 2 mintues to think about it. WOW! He blew that question so bad. Half way in, I wasn't sure he was even going to mention Teraaza's name. Bet he won't be sleeping in the same room with her tonight! Bush was wonderful on the question. I suspect he won over 1 million female voters tonight.
Looks like this may seal the deal for Bush. It will take the polls about a week before we know.
'I suspect he won over 1 million female voters tonight. '
along with his comment about the first voter in Afghanistan being a 19 year old WOMAN.
<< I suspect he won over 1 million female voters tonight. >>
The way Bush & Cheney treat their wives will win them this election. :-)
