The "pointing" is, IMO, agrressive in the extreme.
In the real world, at least here, it would get you smacked into the middle of next week.
He seems to have modified it into the "blunt thumb pointing" that Slick perfected.
At best, it seems condescending, lecturing and demanding.
Yes, the pointing was impolite, but his habit of making all those crazy hand gestures was completely off-putting.
