O'Reilly in trouble!
Link?
FWIW, that sort of idle conversation can be taken as creating a "hostile" work environment, or as harrassment. Work is supposed to be about work. If her chatter makes you uneasy, ask her to stop, please. If she doesn't, then complain to her supervisor.
No. She tapes her future boss so she can sue him and bring him down.
Where?
Especially with the way she parroted the left in her complaint. If anyone hasn't read the Complaint, do so. Her statements about FNC seem straight from the DNC, attacking Bush and compassionate conservatism - surely relevant to a sexual harassment suit.
HUH? Why?
I'd like to hear her side of the phone conversations....if they were engaged in a mutual affair it puts a different spin on the whole story.
Since BOR has talked briefly about the lawsuit HE filed on radio today, I'm guessing that his defense will be that this is an affair gone sour.
As much as I dislike the guy, I find it hard to believe he would be so utterly stupid and disgusting. But whatever, this will be no loss to us if he leaves - the world requires regeneration and renewal.
what is your predirction then? will it be referenced in the debate?
He hasn't specifically endorsed Bush but he has let it be known several times that a vote for Kerry is a vote for terrorism.
Is it too late to sue 20 years after the fact! :)
How many on TV actively support the war on television and are willing to call socialists by name? It will be a loss. Particularly, if the left is able to portray this as their win against FOX, passionate conservatism and Bush.
So, who do you think will get his spot on FNC?
Bottom line, regardless of Bill's attempt to surf the fence of America while waving to the left and the right, I believe that he has earned the right to the American tradition of 'innocent until proven guilty'.
He deserves to be defended in this medium because we are hear standing for truth, standing for the intent of our constitution - and the intent was always to give the defendant the benefit of the doubt. I do not see him throwing away the lives of his daughters and wife and his career for some phone sex. He cannot be this stupid. If it's proven, then I will be the first to unload on him, but until then, I will defend O'Reilly because I would want to be given the same benefit of the doubt.
Let's all remember why we're here and let's Freep the accuser. We all know BOR, what do we know about her.
You could be right, altho, I don't know any corporation who would hire someone who failed in a sexual harrassment suit - too risky.
As an aside, I believe federal law makes it a crime to record interstate telephone calls. I'm not sure if NY has such a law or not for in-state telephone calls.
I missed that program. I have heard him say that neither candidate will look oput for "the little guy," and therefore he defers stating a preference. He has also said that he thinks Kerry would be a fine CinC, just as Bush is.
