I had triple-bypass surgery in 1988. I experienced no pain whatsoever and no "mental problems" and took no pain medication. If there was pain it would have been very minor in the stitches in my legs but none in the chest area.

Where are the dozen or so on this thread?

Maybe you're a wimp. :-)

I come from generations of folks who have lived to their mid 90s without medical intervention. People who go rushing to their doctor must be wimps.
