Lou Gestner was CEO throughout the 90s and now there is another guy at the top slot. I see the accusations go to 2001. So Watson was pulling strings afer he retired?
It might be interesting if worked out in a methodical, well documented way. Which CEO went to jail? Why? What did Mondale have to do with it. Etc.
Far more pertinent are IBM's, Cisco's and some other tech co's overt support to Kerry / the Rats. It completely refutes the Leftists' notion that "corporate America" is for Bush, that the GOP are the "corporate" party and that Kerry would do ANYTHING about corporate corruption. In truth, as viewed by me, a corporate guy, Bush has put in place the toughest controls in a long, long time, perhaps the toughest since Teddy Roosevelt. Back with Clinton, it was like the Wild West. Now, everyone better behave themselves!
You are dead on. At best, this is only a lead, and at that, it does not have clear allegations against the opposition, only that some of their business allies were corrupt. Nevertheless, more than a few times I have seen slender leads generate major hits on the opposition.
I totally agree. I worked for IBM from 1962 to 1974, ITT for four years in the 70's and Hitachi in the 80's. I don't recognize any of these events. I don't even recognize them as valid fairy-tales.
I can't make heads or tails of what he is trying to say. There is a tiny glimmer of fact here and there but there is no coherence to any of these strange allegation's.
Jerico, if you have a point may I suggest a total re-write! You need stress following through on each allegation to a logical conclusion; if that is possible with this set of highly questionable facts.
