I'm listening to options including an increase in the gas tax, and perhaps regional bonds. I am very confident that we Americans are creative and bright enough to solve this.

Bring your friends and family to the RECALL RALLY Monday night. Remember: 17 cent per mile toll = a $3.40 per gallon gas tax. We don't want that.

Do you have any idea how much the gas tax would need to be raised to pay for the maintenance of existing roads and to develop new roads? Do you know how much longer it would take to get these roads built by using the gas tax as opposed to tolling as a mechanism to pay for these roads?????

Do you realize that EVERYONE in Austin whether they use these roads or not will be taxed if you raise the gas tax???? Let the people that use the road pay for the road. It is amazing that you people are so emotional and you create the angry mob mentality of JUST SAY NO AND FIRE/OUT FROM OFFICE SOMEONE FOR THINKING OF IT and yet you have no alternative solutions or suggestions that make any sense.
