If you took the time to read the thread, you would see that my first post pointed out that double-standard.
You would also see my opinion that this teacher belongs in jail.
I saw and applauded your #22. The problem is that it doesn't tend to reconcile with your statement at the end of #60. Assuming we can both agree (assuming the charges are true) that the teacher was in the wrong, the teacher abused her power in the professional relationship of teacher/student, the teacher should be fired for that abuse, and that she should be prosecuted if she violated local consent laws, then we're in agreement on the issue.
