When in the second debate he looked into the camera as said he wouldn't sign any legislation to RAISE taxes on any making less that 200K I thought there is no way he can say that.

But the truth of it is he can SAY it quite easily, he just never plans to keep his word on it.

His mantra of repealing the tax cut for the top 2% is bullcrap...it wont get him enough and he knows it. After he made his sincere promise he said what he really would do....he said he would revert back the top two tax levels to what it was under Clinton. Now by doing that, he will roll back on more than just the people making over 200K..it will roll back for people and couples making much less more than that...but what he SAID is that he wouldn't sign legislation to RAISE taxes on those people. Well, they've already been taxed at that level (during Clinton years), so technically its not raising...its getting back to what it was. Who cares if the net result is still that you have less money.. He just wants your taxes.

Senator Kerry says it depends on your definition of "raise"...sound familiar anyone??
