Wade Sanders, a contributor to The New Soldier, and a friend of Kerry's, was given a political appointment by Clinton. I believe it was an Assistant Secretary of the Navy. Sanders was also an officer in charge of a Swift Boat, but not with Kerry. Could there have been mice in the woodwork?

Senator Warner is lying.....check this out, courtesy of boxerblues in the original thread! From a CNN transcript BLITZER: The Silver Star he was talking about. You obviously believe Senator Warner. DOLE: Yes, but I don't think Senator Warner drafted the citation or even, you know, they'd gone so far as to say Kerry wrote up his own record. BLITZER: But what Senator Warner said is there was a process that, when it got to him, the secretary of the Navy, he had total confidence that it was justified. And that if he got the Silver Star, John Kerry, he believes it was justified. http://cnnstudentnews.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0408/22/le.00.html

Wade Sanders is a long friend of Kerry.
Besides being an asst SecNav, he specializes in "correcting" military records for those whose who claim their records are wrong.
What a nice combination for a friend to have. We exposed Wade Sanders when he wrote an "letter to the editor" for a Colorado Newspaper backing Kerry versus the Swift Vets.
Below is the link to the search on Wade Sanders:

Some of us feel that some Pentagon leftovers from his days as asstSECNav used Lehman's auto pen to rewrite the recommendations for Kerry's medals.
