"What kind of paper is the NY SUN? I never heard of it but I'm from the Midwest." You remember...it's the paper that printed "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus." And if this is the blockbuster it sounds like...then there IS. :-)))

Actually, that was the Baltimore Sun. Unlike Babe Ruth, it did not relocate to NYC. The Sun is a distant seventh or eighth in area circulation (NY Times, NY Post, NY Daily News, L.I. Newsday, Wall Street Jornal, Village Voice and maybe even the wretched Observer). But it is a legit paper.

Actually is was the OLD New York SUN that ran that reply to a young girls letter in 1897 (Virginia O'Hanlon was the little girl in question---her father had said "If it's in the SUN, it is so")

Tho old SUN went out of circulation long ago, but the current publisher bought the name and logo rights.
