Small Plane Crashes In Denton
No Injuries Reported

DENTON, Texas -- A small plane crashed about a half mile from Denton Municipal Airport Tuesday.

No injuries were reported. NBC 5's chopper was live at the crash site showing extensive damage to the Cessna aircraft.

The plane went down in a field about a half mile west of Interstate 35.

Turns out that the one in Atlanta today was a retired couple from the Sarasota area (namely a town called Nokomis).

Looks like two more small plane crashes today. From IPN. Don Scott Field is the airport for Ohio State University.

Columbus Ohio - Airport Alert - Don Scott Field - Alert 2. E,R,M, Crash (Not sure what an E,R,M, Crash is)

Florida - Walton County - Aircraft Down - Choctawhatchee Bay - Rescue boats on scene - debris site of Air Heart 1 helo - active area search for survivors.
