Nothing on WGN News yet. Fire Dept has left the scene, secured the truck and isolated it and turned it all over to the Dept of Energy. I'll keep listening and update if I hear anything.

Just a small blurb in the Tribune today about the garbage truck incident. No final answer. All they said is it might have been construction equipment used to x-ray buildings. These things seem to keep popping up in the headlines, if that's what it was.

"A preliminary investigation determined that the truck was carrying material used to X-ray building structures, Gault said.
