Last evening, I was driving home from school and listening to 770 out of NYC. During the traffic break I heard of a similar thing occurring somewhere just outside one of the NYC 'burbs (don't recall exactly where). Anyway, the report was that traffic was backed up 14 miles as vehicles were being funneled into a rest area that was filled with 'flashing lights'. I got home shortly after hearing about this and never heard anything more.

I suspect we will be hearing more incidents like this...my son is driving up from PA to CT tonite and will be taking the GWB (which I wish he would not). I imagine there will be some major searches going on...
