I may be wrong, but I thought there were three explosions (Taba, Nuweiba, and As-Satan). If there was a fourth, non-publicized one, then they just took credit.
I remember MSNBC reporting or trackingterrorism.com that the first hotel bombing included 2 explosions.
The earliest reports had stated 4 explosions. Later reports confirmed the 3 sites.
