When I was commuting this morning on the train from NJ to NYC, the train was stopped before reaching 33rd st PATH station.
The conductor told all of us on the train we would have to disembark a stop before 33 rd because it was shut to do to 'police activity'
I asked around but no one seemed to know what was going on.
I spoke to one of my friends few hours later, she was on the train ahead of me and was stuck for 50 minutes right outside of the 33rd station.
She said police wouldnt tell her what the problem had been and told her to move along.
If anyone knows what happened today, Id love to know !
Selkie there was an Amtrak Acela train that derailed last night in Connecticut. 60 people aboard...no injuries reported. This train was bound from CT to Washington, D.C.
